OUR PRESCHOOLERS HAVE MOVED ON!!
Today, was the first day for our little preschoolers to start Kindergarten. It was an exciting day for the preschoolers. Some were hesitant, others were overly excited. As for the staff.......we were excited for all of the but we missed having them in our classrooms. Now we start all over with a new group. You see, education never stops.

This is true of education. My daughter's kindergarten teacher from last year had a hard time the last few weeks seeing my daughter and her classmates in the hallway. She was tearing up every time she saw them because she remembered when they came to her last year, she prepared them to leave, and they are actually growing before her eyes. She said,"This is one of the hardest things I've had to do(referring to starting over with a new set of kindergartners)
ReplyDeleteIt is so amazing to have teachers that are passionate about educating children. Children do actually grow right before your eyes. The child care center that I am employed has a separate before and after school site. So every year we have an official graduation for our students that are going to school and every time I see them after leaving I remember when they first started at the center.
